Daftar Lengkap Nominasi dan Pemenang BAFTA 2016

'The Revenant' memenangkan 5 piala dalam BAFTA Awards ke-69, termasuk Best Film, Director dan Leading Actor. Berikut daftar lengkap pemenangnya.

British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) telah mengumumkan pemenang BAFTA Awards ke-69. The Revenant yang sebelumnya memperoleh 8 nominasi menjadi pemenang besar dengan membawa pulang 5 piala, termasuk Best Film, Director untuk Alejandro G. Inarritu dan Leading Actor untuk Leonardo DiCaprio.

Mad Max: Fury Road menyusul dengan 4 piala yang semuanya di kategori teknis yaitu Costume Design, Production Design, Make and Hair dan Editing.

Kategori Leading Actress dimenangkan oleh Brie Larson dalam Room, Supporting Actor untuk Mark Rylance dalam Bridge of Spies dan Supporting Actress untuk Kate Winslet dalam Steve Jobs.

BAFTA ini sering disebut sebagai Oscar-nya Inggris. Mengingat bahwa kontingen Inggris cukup signifikan dalam Academy, maka BAFTA mempunyai pengaruh yang besar dalam penentuan voting Oscar. 6 Pemenang Best Film BAFTA juga merupakan pemenang Best Picture Oscar dari 7 tahun belakangan.
